The Community Lesbian Flag was created in a collaborative attempt over a year in the making within the lesbian community. The goal was to create a flag that could represent all lesbians, not just a subset. The flag is a symbol for all lesbians, a symbol for the diversity of lesbians and the lesbian experiences, and a symbol of unity within the community, no matter our differences.
This revised version of the lesbian flag has been gaining popularity, after winning an online vote in 2019. The colours stand for:
- Red - Transgressive womanhood
- Orange - Community
- White - Gender Nonconformity
- Pink - Freedom
- Purple - Love
This large flag is 3 feet high by 5 feet wide (150cm x 90cm).
A polyester flag which has the side grommets (that's the term apparently!) to attach with rope to a flag pole. More durable than our standard flag and it great for parades or hanging outside on a flag pole.
Made from water resistant quality polyester.
For UK orders, we use:
- Economy: Royal Mail 48 (Second Class): Average 4-6 working days.
- Standard: Royal Mail 24 (First Class): Average 2-3 working days.
- Tracked24: Royal Mail Tracked24: Average 1-2 working days.
These are estimated timings and may take longer if there are Royal Mail strikes, or during busy periods like Bank Holidays.
We do not offer guaranteed delivery dates and can not be held responsible if your order does take longer.
- Orders under £50 can't be tracked (unless you pay for Tracked24), but do have a barcode on which Royal Mail scan on delivery.
- Orders over £50 are also sent out with full tracking.
